Graphic Artist
Location: Fort Lee, Virginia
Description:
Seeking a Graphic Artist supporting the CASCOM G6 mission by delivering visually compelling digital and print materials that support training, communication, and strategic messaging objectives. This role produces graphics, infographics, presentations, and visual assets in alignment with Army branding standards. The Graphic Artist works closely with Public Affairs, Web Administrators, and trainers to ensure content accuracy, accessibility, and usability.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Job Responsibilities:
Design and deliver graphics, infographics, logos, posters, and presentations to support tasks under PWS Section 1.2.14.
Create visual assets for both print and digital distribution consistent with Army branding guidelines.
Collaborate with SharePoint and Web Administrators to enhance user experience through effective graphic design.
Support strategic communication initiatives and high-level leadership briefings with timely visual deliverables.
Maintain a library of approved templates, visual assets, and reusable media.
Format deliverables for various platforms including web, print, and projection.
Respond to short-notice graphic support requests for command events or priority tasks.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat)
Familiarity with MS Office tools for basic graphic creation and presentation formatting
Strong understanding of Army visual communication, branding, and accessibility standards
Ability to translate complex content into clear, engaging visuals
Demonstrated ability to produce content under tight deadlines
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
Adobe Certified Professional (Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign)
Prior experience supporting TRADOC, Army Public Affairs, or military classroom training
Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility design principles
Experience working within cross-functional teams that include communicators, IT staff, and instructional designers
Education and Experience:
Associate degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
Minimum of 3 years producing graphics for federal, military, or enterprise-level organizations
