Job Title: Test Engineer
Job Location: Ocala FL 34472
Onsite Requirements:
* Hands-on experience with electrical testing in a production environment
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for failure analysis and corrective actions
* Effective communication and collaboration skills
Job Description:
* Duties include supporting the operation, calibration, and maintenance of test stations used during optical and electrical checks for the production unit.
* Additionally, the Engineer will support root cause failure analysis if the tested production unit fails.
* Upon determination of the root cause, the Engineer would then recommend and implement corrective actions on the test station as required or in the case of a production unit failure, provide recommendations to manufacturing engineering.
Required Experience/Skills:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 5 years of professional experience or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree. Considered career or journey level.
* Candidate must have at least 1-2 years experience with Power Electronics
* Candidate must have at least 2-4 years experience with Production
* Candidate must have at least 2-4 years experience with Electrical Testing
* Candidate must have at least 2-4 years experience with User Acceptance Testing
* Candidate must have at least 1-2 years experience with Validation Test Plans
* Candidate must have at least 1-2 years experience with wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts, in the field. General knowledge of other related disciplines.
* Candidate must have at least 1-2 years experience with Test Stations in a Production Environment
* Candidate must have at least 1-2 years experience with Microsoft Office
* Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
Desired Skills:
* Familiarity with common lab equipment: DMM, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies
* Familiarity with Troubleshooting test equipment with schematics and documentation
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Work well in a team environment
