Join a leading aerospace and defense innovator at the forefront of next-generation national security systems. This role supports a classified modernization effort focused on cutting-edge manned-unmanned teaming (MUM-T), advanced autonomy, and future air dominance capabilities.
As a Systems Engineer, you’ll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to help define, integrate, and validate complex system architectures in support of a transformational, long-range platform for the U.S. Air Force.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain systems engineering tools, processes, schedules, and performance metrics
Support systems definition and architecture using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and tools like CAMEO and DOORS
Partner with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to execute engineering statements of work
Participate in milestone reviews, trade studies, and risk assessments to ensure safety, quality, and technical excellence
Contribute to requirements management, interface definitions, and technical baselines
Drive alignment between systems design and integration efforts, customer requirements, and program objectives
âś… Required Qualifications:
Experience in systems engineering and requirements management
Familiarity with tools such as DOORS, CAMEO, and Earned Value Management (EVM)
Experience with or exposure to Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
U.S. Citizenship and active Secret clearance
Ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
🌟 Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering or related technical discipline
Prior experience supporting classified or proprietary defense programs
Familiarity with complex integration environments, hardware/software systems, or air/space platforms
Experience working in cross-functional teams across engineering disciplines
⚠️ Special Access Program Requirements:
Candidates must meet all conditions to qualify for program access:
U.S. Citizen (no dual citizenship)
Clean criminal history
Clean financial background (no recent bankruptcies or collections)
No close ties to foreign nationals or extensive foreign travel
Spouse and parents must also be U.S. citizens with no dual citizenship
