Description:What We're Doing
Become a part of something IMPACT-ful! Ground Missile Defense (GMD) is the heart of the Missile Defense System and a key element of our nation's defense against ballistic missile attacks.
The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat.
The Work
The selected engineer will review, write, and execute manual test cases on system HW in a lab environment.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors of Science in a related STEM degree and minimum of 5 years' related experience, or a Masters of Science degree in a related STEM field with minimum of 3 years' related experience
• Ability to acquire Security+ certification within 30 days of start
• Recent experience developing test reports and test cases
• Experience performing Software integration or System-level testing
• Active U.S. DoD security clearance at SECRET level
• Must be able to support an in-office / closed-area work environment full time.
Desired Skills:
• Exposure to Agile Scrum/Kanban development environments,
• Experience with Atlassian JIRA, and Atlassian Confluence tools or similar tools,
• Availability to travel in support of Ground/Flight tests
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
