Job Description Summary
Responsibilities:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Secret Security Clearance to start but TS/SCI will be required for this position.
- For this position, we are seeking (and will only consider) candidates with expertise in at least one of the following areas: firewall, Cisco ISE, Cisco DNA, network automation, and Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSFC) experience.

- Designs, plans and builds communications networks.
- Configures routers and switches, and firewalls for LAN and WAN systems and VPN concentrators with appropriate network engineering and communications protocols.
- Coordinates LAN/WAN hardware/software improvements and/or enhancements.
- Monitors the network utilizing industry leading technologies.
- Provides innovative methods and technical solutions using the engineering design process. Plans implementation of enhancements.
Responsibilities:

- Analyze customer requirements and provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
- Perform maintenance and upgrade of networks including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and networks.
- Maintain network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintains system backup and recovery capability.
- Coordinate the acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed.
- Create plans and configures systems for data communication networks.
- Evaluate new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
- Design and build the hardware and software components for computer or telecommunications networks.
- Provide guidance and leadership to less-experienced network personnel.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 8+ years of Networking experience.
- BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
- US Security Clearance of Secret or higher is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance.
- DoDD 8570 IAT level II (e.g. Security+ CE, etc.).
- Computing environment certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, etc.) required.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
- Must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner
