Job Description
You will be part of our DOD DevSecOps practice and will be primarily working on building solutions and integrating into a Kubernetes on-prem platform. Responsibilities involve proof of concepts (PoC), demos, implementation, management and day 2 operations. Day to day tasks include automation with configuration management and developing CI/CD pipelines, implementing security and other COTS tooling.
In this role, you will also be responsible for collaborating and supporting your team as well as the client.
Key Responsibilities:
Automating builds, configurations and deployments of Kubernetes PaaS and accepted tool sets.
Implement automated testing tools and processes within CI/CD pipelines to identify issues during deployments and updates/upgrades.
Work closely with development and integration teams to promote security best practices and ensure adherence to security policies.
Participate in developing and implementing visualizations and dashboards using monitoring tools based on customer requirements.
Manage and maintain PaaS supporting tools.
Provide PaaS service training for development, dsop and integration teams.
Create and maintain documentation for processes, procedures and implemented tool sets.
Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies
Qualifications
DOD SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED.
Have in-depth, hands-on experience with building cloud-native platforms at scale for containerized workloads.
Perform and support day 2 operations and troubleshooting on Kubernetes environments.
Leverage Kubernetes management and container orchestration tools.
Experience with orchestration deployment tools with automation and GitOps.
Ability to develop multi-stage CI/CD processes and pipelines to help accelerate software delivery.
Experience working with on-prem and disconnected environments.
Hands on experience with Kubernetes, Ansible, Vault, Jenkins, GitLab and Grafana/Loki stack.
Experience working in Agile environments with Business Analysts, Scrum masters, and sprint cycles leveraging tools like Jira or Rally.
Ability to effectively communicate with different level stakeholders (both technical and nontechnical) and provide solutions and presentations as needed.
Proven experience of delivering complex project engagements leveraging DevSecOps and cloud-native technologies and concepts.
