Field Engineer
Full-time professional experience working as a Field Engineer with strong Electronic/RF background that installs, maintains, and repairs electronic, mechanical, and/or shipboard sytems. Provides technical advice and guidance on RF Theorey, RF Spectrum management, and/or configuration of shipboard collection systems. Professional experience preparing/revising drawings for systems, parts or equipment from sketches or marked-up prints
-Provides technical advice and guidance on RF Theorey, RF Spectrum, and wave propogation.
-Troubleshoots a range of hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues.
-Performs a range of technical tasks and provides site support.
-Provides advanced solutions to problems and guidance to less experienced field engineers.
-Provides advanced training on different types of equipment and infrastructure maintenance.
-Prepares and revises drawings for systems, parts or equipment from sketches or marked-up prints.
-Provides advice and a range of onsite training for customer support personnel.
-Works with Electrical/Mechanical engineers for stress/electrical/mechanical calculations
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience., 8+ years of full-time hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting, repairing, and/or testing of any one major shipboard system/equipment.
-Security+
Active Top Secret Clearance required.
