Joint Intelligence Planner, Mid
The Opportunity:

As an Intelligence Planner, you will use your spe cia lized regional and functional experience and attention to detail to assist in the development of campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time sensitive planning in accordance with the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System ( JOPES ) . If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters. You'll employ your intelligence expertise and knowledge to assist in the integration of Defense and National intelligence support capabilities across the DoD. Additionally, you'll assist with intelligence operations feasibility assessments within the planning process.
You'll work as part of an intelligence planning team and ensure intelligence equities are integrated into strategic and operational-level military planning or execution. You'll provide intelligence support to campaign, contingency, and crisis planning, document intelligence resourcing gaps and shortfalls, and develop mitigation strategies. You'll integrate intelligence products and services supporting the Joint Planning Process ( JPP ) and synchronize the intelligence cycle supporting collection, analysis, production, and targeting in the JPP. You'll also assist with intelligence operations feasibility assessments within the planning process.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 3+ years of experience with the DoD
- 2+ years of experience in the JPP
- 2+ years of experience on a strategic level staff such as a Joint Staff, Service Staff, Combatant Command, or Service Component Command staff, or National Level Intelligence Agency
- Knowledge of the JPP and outputs, including JIPOE, Center of Gravity Analysis, Enemy Course of Actions, or Annex B
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
- 3+ years of experience as an intelligence analyst
- Experience using Python for data science applications
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with programming languages, including Python and SQL
- Ability to provide all-source intelligence analysis and assessments
- Ability to brief senior defense and government offi cia ls
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Master's degree
- DoD Intelligence Planning Certifications
- Completion of Joint Professional Military Education, including Phase I or II
