Video Teleconferencing Engineer

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a VTC Engineer to join a National Security Contract located in DC, Albuquerque (NM), Los Alamos (CA), and Laurel (MD) through 100% full onsite presence . The VTC Engineer focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining video teleconferencing (VTC) and collaboration solutions using platforms like Microsoft Teams, Crestron, Cisco, and Surface Hub. The Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for troubleshooting AV and network issues, performing system upgrades, ensuring security compliance, and leading deployments across enterprise environments. This role does require travel 10-25% for installations, upgrades and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities of the VTC Engineer include:

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level video teleconferencing (VTC) solutions using Microsoft Teams, Crestron, Cisco, and Surface Hub.
• Troubleshoot and resolve AV, network connectivity, and collaboration platform issues, ensuring seamless communication across hybrid work environments
• Perform system upgrades, installations, and lifecycle refresh projections for AV/VTC infrastructure, maintaining adherence and security compliance
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and reporting, supporting change management processes and security compliance
• Collaborate with vendors, IT teams, and stakeholders to enhance functionality integration, and user adoption of collaboration technologies
• Provide full lifecycle support for enterprise VTC, network streaming, and audiovisual systems, ensuring optimized performance and reliability

Qualifications of the VTC Engineer include:

• 15+ years of experience in AV/VTC systems engineering, network streaming, and collaboration technologies
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams, M365, Crestron, Cisco video devices, Polycom, and Surface Hub
• Strong background in SaaS-based collaboration platforms (Teams, Exchange, Intune), scripting (PowerShell), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Familiar with firewalls, IP video teleconferencing, TLS certificates, and classified/unclassified network configurations
• Skilled in diagnosing and resolving AV/VTC hardware and software issues, including Crestron processors, digital signage, and streaming technologies
• Active secret clearance

Compensation for the VTC Engineer includes:

• Salary Range: $136,000-$150,000 **depending on experience**
