The Senior Process Improvement Specialist supports process improvement efforts aim to enhance efficiency, compliance, and knowledge within Army processes related to FMS and security assistance programs.
Responsibilities
- Training & Compliance: Conduct training sessions and workshops to address deficiencies and improve compliance with Army and DoD guidelines, including ITAR, MTCR, and export control processes.
- Assessment & Recommendations: Review current training initiatives and processes to evaluate effectiveness and propose enhancements for better implementation and compliance.
- Instructional Systems Development: Maintain and update computer-based and platform training programs tailored to Army personnel involved in FMS, security assistance, and export controls.
- Army Export Control Systems (A/ECS): Provide training on electronic staffing processes to streamline export license reviews and coordination.
- Policy Development: Support the creation of training policies and procedures to improve the Army FMS and Security Assistance programs.
- Certification Tracking: Ensure personnel meet certification requirements within appropriate timelines and assisting with application reviews.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree and 5 years experience
- Requires Secret clearance
