Join our Field Engineering team, supporting initial deployment, operations, training and maintenance of a complex airborne and terrestrial tactical communication system. We are seeking a Systems Engineering Manager 2 who will manage Triton program engineers and Operations and Sustainment for our OCONUS locations.
The selected candidate will be responsible for a team of approximately 10-15 highly skilled Field engineers. This position entails a dual role, requiring the candidate to divide their time between employee management and serving as a leader for high level Operations and Sustainment in support of the Triton program at OCONUS sites. This is an exciting and dynamic opportunity for the select candidate to work across a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced hands-on environment. The select manager will be required to manage multiple Triton teams that are geo-separated.
This role demands a diverse range of skills encompassing interpersonal, business, and technical capabilities. The candidate must possess the ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with Integrated Product Teams, to achieve the program goals.

Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

- Functional supervision for a team of approximately 10-15 highly skilled Field engineers, working multiple initiatives to include follow-on contracts, new business growth opportunities, internal research and development, and capital projects.
- Recruiting new talent to fulfill staffing commitments.
- Forecasting staffing needs and workload; Employee inclusion, engagement, mentoring and career development; providing employee training and identifying necessary skills for program execution; managing employee performance reviews; and leading multitude of functional management processes.
- Lead a deployment team ensuring high level Operations and Sustainment and performing hands on technical and leadership tasks during Triton operations.
- Work closely with several diverse Integrated Product Teams as well as provide guidance to manufacturing engineering, logistics and operations staff.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in STEM with a minimum of 8 years related experience or Master's Degree in STEM with 6 years related experience.
- Must have an active TS clearance.
- US Citizenship required.
- Exhibit exceptional leadership qualities to achieve sustainable top performance and work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to travel outside the US for extended periods of time as needed.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with internal and external customers, in written and oral format.
- High proficiency in technical problem solving, to include root cause analysis, solution development, implementation, and monitoring.
- Ability to be cleared to special access programs.
- Experience with ground station systems and IT responsibilities associated with a ground station.
- Experience with trusted downloads from Classified systems.
- Familiarity with and performing field integration, troubleshooting, and repair of systems at customer locations on a flight line or in a hangar or within a command-and-control center.
- Ability to support multiple classified networks, ensure necessary administration tasks are completed, and direct others as necessary.
- Experience performing review and analysis of engineering schematics, supplier design data, support of functional test requirements including acceptance, qualification, and system integration on the Ground stations.
- Familiarity with Aircraft Vehicle operations associated with Ground stations.
- Familiarity with OCONUS assignments and administrative management of site-specific cost and oversight requirements.
- Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed.
- Ability to work and live OCONUS for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with IETM's, NATOPS, Maintenance instructions and Maintenance sign off processes
- Experience with voice comms, networks and Air Vehicle Operator interfaces
- Experience with Engineering Design and Change Management
- Experience in preparing status reports and communicating status of projects to management, identifying risks and mitigation activities to meet expected results and schedule.
- Experience in developing mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with program managers and customers.
- Experience with OCONUS Global Mobilization organizations and managing a team of field support engineers
- Experience with Cyber system requirements, STIGs, ATO and other relevant processes.
