Description:The Aero PECS organization is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer (ME) to join the Planning Central Services, Core Planning team. This critical role will focus on supporting the Johnstown and Pinellas Convergence (JPPAC) project by providing ME planning expertise, with a focus on CAPP implementation, to ensure a smooth convergence of the two sites.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide ME planning expertise to support JPPAC project with CAPP implementation.
Manage project activities for Production Engineering system and process implementation.
Collaborate with IT MES team to integrate data from their system to ours.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Implement and configure CAPP to support Production Engineering processes and systems.
Support the implementation and maintenance of CAPP, including troubleshooting and ongoing process improvement.
Learn and develop expertise in converting systems and processes to new MES systems, in preparation for the Legacy Operations Transformation (LOT).
This individual will:
• Oversee the conversion of plans from the Johnstown and Pinellas sites to the Aero CAPP system, working closely with the IT MES team and planners to ensure successful implementation.
• Assist planners at the Johnstown and Pinellas sites in manually converting plans to the Aero CAPP system, as needed, to ensure a smooth transition.
• Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, including Production Engineering, IT, and other stakeholders, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Play a key role in supporting the LOT transformation by applying knowledge and expertise gained from the JPPAC project.
This individual should be:
• A strong communicator and collaborator, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with Manufacturing Engineering planning principles and practices, with experience working with CAPP or similar systems.

Basic Qualifications:

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $81,600 - $143,865. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
