Job Description
- 9+ yrs of Aerospace Thermal Engineering in the Design, Analysis, Testing, and Orbit Raising of Satellites
- Design experience with passive thermal control features including Optical Solar Reflectors, Multilayer Insulation, Ammonia-filled heat pipes, conduction enhancement and inhibiting materials.
- Experience with Design and analysis for active thermal control features including onboard computer controlled and thermostatically controlled regulated heater circuits as well as Telemetry Event Macro Activations.
- Thermal Software Code experience with SINDA, TSS, and Thermal Desktop
- Thermal Engineer Console experience with TVAC test to ensure spacecraft safety
- Monitoring Test Telemetry and Equipment, adjusting hardware and equipment
Day to Day:
- 9-12 hr shift schedule up to 4 days a week in shifts of 2-3 weeks straight
- On-site in Littleton, CO
