Job Summary

• Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting the development of large-scale, high-availability systems
• This position requires deep technical expertise in full-stack development, with a focus on backend development

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and the Spring Framework
• Build and integrate high-performance, geographically distributed systems with failover and continuity of operations (COOP) considerations
• Develop and consume extensive RESTful web services in support of enterprise-scale applications.
• Work with MongoDB, ElasticSearch, CockroachDB, and Percona DB for data persistence and search capabilities
• Implement JMS for asynchronous messaging and loosely coupled system integrations
• Integrate high-speed caching mechanisms to optimize system performance
• Utilize Docker and CI/CD pipelines to build, test, and deploy software in cloud and container-based environments
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate delivery frameworks within AWS or similar cloud environments.
• Derive technical requirements from high-level concepts and user stories; provide solutions that integrate with existing architecture and partner systems
• Interface with team members, partners, integrators, and customers to align efforts with mission goals

Required Qualifications

• Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
• Fourteen (14) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
• Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented design
• Experience with MongoDB, ElasticSearch, CockroachDB, and Percona DB
• Expertise with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and JMS
• Proven success developing and deploying highly available, distributed, and large-scale systems
• Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps toolchains
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms
• Solid understanding of COOP requirements and operational continuity planning
• Ability to translate user requirements into functional technical tasks and work across cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for partner and customer engagement

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with Hyland Alfresco, Svelte, JavaScript and/or react, VUE or angular

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate's experience and qualifications.

The pay range for this role is:

160,000 - 220,000 USD per year ( NBP )
