Job Summary:
The Systems Architect is responsible for designing and deploying complex business systems, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with functional requirements. They define system solutions based on user needs, cost considerations, and integration with existing applications, platforms, or systems.
Position requires knowledge of cyber security and zero trust solution integration into overall IT system design.
As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these include, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s), staying focused on the assigned tasks, and completing other tasks as assigned

Responsibilities:
Design Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff, ensuring designs are technically sound, efficient, and aligned with business needs
Design Quality Assurance: Maintain a high standard of design quality by reviewing and approving designs, ensuring they meet functional and non-functional requirements
Project Coordination and Efficiency: Coordinate design efforts across multiple projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation and project timelines
Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure designs adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and security protocols
Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of various technologies, tools, and methodologies used in system architecture. Possess a general understanding of cyber security and zero trust solutions for overall IT system design
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate design plans, progress, and issues to various stakeholders, including project managers, developers, and end-users
Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to system architecture and implementation
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system designs, including diagrams, specifications, and implementation plans
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and methodologies, and identify opportunities for improvement in system architecture
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, technology, or related field of studies
5+ years as a Systems Architect implementing cyber solution for IT systems
Excellent communication and analytical skills, written and oral
Organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required
Must be able to resolve problems independently or work with team members to drive solutions
Must be a U.S Citizen
Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret level clearance
3+ years' experience working with Java, ASP.NET with MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, and web services framework
3+ years’ experience developing in a cloud-based environment, e.g. Azure
Knowledge of RDBMS, i.e. Oracle 19c or higher or SQL Server 2014 or higher
Experience working under CMMI Level 3 standards
Must be able to meet deadlines and changing priorities
Strong communication and verbal skills
Familiarity with software development environments includingAgile/Scrum SDLC
Experienced in driving cross-functional meetings
