We are seeking a Mid-Level IT Project Lead to plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. The ideal candidate will oversee technical teams, serve as a bridge between business and technology, and ensure project completion within established deadlines, standards, and cost targets. This role requires strong project management skills, business analysis expertise, and the ability to drive IT initiatives forward effectively.

Details
Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

About The Role
We are seeking a Mid-Level IT Project Lead to plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. The ideal candidate will oversee technical teams, serve as a bridge between business and technology, and ensure project completion within established deadlines, standards, and cost targets. This role requires strong project management skills, business analysis expertise, and the ability to drive IT initiatives forward effectively.
- Plan, initiate, and manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Lead and guide technical teams, providing direction and support throughout project lifecycles.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating effective communication.
- Develop project stages and assess business implications for each phase to optimize outcomes.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring milestones, deadlines, and budgets are met while maintaining quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks, adjusting project strategies as needed to maintain efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycles, and infrastructure management.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to track project performance and ensure quality assurance.
- A current/active TS/SCI security clearance and the ability to obtain/pass a polygraph.
- Experience managing IT projects, leading teams, and facilitating technical-business collaboration.
- 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
