Description
SAIC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Aurora, CO. This position is responsible for providing electrical engineering expertise for design and construction projects as well as facility operations at a critical defense facility. To qualify, you must possess an active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
In this role, you will serve on the site engineering team within the facilities management organization responding to electrical engineering inquiries and concerns from the customer, design & construction contractors, Site Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support contractors, local utilities, and other stakeholders.

Other Key Responsibilities:
- Clearly communicating complex electrical engineering matters to a variety of customer personnel at multiple levels
- Review and comment on design documentation, operational procedures, and construction installations - ensuring quality control in your area of expertise
- Coordinate with the on-site Facilities O&M support contractor to ensure uninterrupted operation and continued resiliency
- Analyze power capacity, usage rates, and trends
- Assist in the evaluation of anomalies and perform root cause analysis
- Independently review and provide response to requests for information (RFI), shop drawings, and construction submittals in support of construction efforts
- Lead technically complex electrical engineering projects
- Develop and generate standards, specifications, ROMs, and SOWs

Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience in the IC or DoD or 7+ years in the commercial sector
- Knowledge of facility operations & maintenance activities and procedures
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local building and safety codes
- Experience with facility electrical systems
- Engineer-in-Training
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in business or engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (any State)
- Experience with Data Centers
- Experience with medium voltage
- Experience with automation and controls from concept planning, configuration, and development
