As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in architecting and maintaining backend systems with a strong emphasis on Neo4j graph database administration. You’ll work on projects that support multi-mission aircraft operations and other defense initiatives, contributing to systems that make a real-world difference.
Key Responsibilities:
*Administer and optimize Neo4j databases using best practices.
*Write efficient Cypher queries to manage and analyze graph data.
*Design and deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes, Helm, and Docker.
*Develop automation and backend scripts using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
*Operate in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
*Navigate and define work in ambiguous or undefined technical spaces ("whitespace").
*Collaborate in an Agile development environment using tools like Jira.
Required Qualifications:
*Active Secret clearance (TS or TS/SCI preferred).
*8+ years of professional software development experience.
*Hands-on experience with Neo4j and Cypher.
*Strong background in Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration.
*Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
*Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
*Ability to work independently and lead efforts in undefined problem spaces.
