Zachary Piper Solutions is currently looking for a Satellite Test Manager to support one of our partners on-site in Midland, TX . The Satellite Test Manager will be joining a fast growing satellite communications company that is focused on ramping up in order to launch multiple satellites per month.

Responsibilities for the Satellite Test Manager include:
· Manage day-to-day satellite-level testing operations.
· Oversee telemetry software (e.g., COSMOS) - operation and analysis, not development.
· Analyze telemetry data, assess pass/fail results, and debug issues.
· Coordinate with environmental test specialists (TVAC chambers, shaker tables).
· Ensure safety protocols and workflow efficiency on the test floor.
· Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to resolve issues.
· Contribute to building out testing infrastructure as the company scales.
Qualifications for the Satellite Test Manager include:
· Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline.
· 5+ years of experience in spacecraft/satellite integration and test.
· 5+ years of experience managing teams (at least 5 people).
· Strong organizational and communication skills.
· Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications for the Satellite Test Manager include:
· Experience with CubeSats or commercial satellite constellations.
· Familiarity with COSMOS telemetry software (used at AST).
· Aerospace background preferred; automotive considered.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
Compensation for the Satellite Test Manager include:
· Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 *depending on experience*
