In this role you will...
  • Support security program planning, development, management, and monitoring activities. Suggest solutions and procedural changes to correct problems.
  • Assist in budget development and project tracking initiatives. Continually monitor the budget comparing against the Status of Funds (SOF) information
  • provided by the Resource Management Staff (RMP).
  • Reconcile SOF information with RMP in order to maintain an accurate budget status.
  • Provide a detailed, justified response to status of funds and end of fiscal year reporting.
  • Review and analyze past obligations, determines reasonable fund levels, evaluates validity of requests and ensures compliance with current priorities.
  • Create for approval and process procurement documentation. Review Obligations, Unobligated Orders, and balances to ensure they are properly maintained, supported and documented.
  • Serving as the functional point of contact for day-to-day budget/financial issues.
  • Determine availability of funds for reallocation due to unforeseen circumstances. Recommend sources of funds, as required, if options are available.
  • Participate in identifying future budget requirements, and in the planning and developing of future budget requirements. Prepare justifications for recommended allocation levels, particularly deviations from initial yearly
  • budget submission.
  • Performing budget execution and administration work involving the monitoring of obligations incurred and the actual expenditures of funds. Provide a wide
  • variety of budgetary reports to include obligations, funds availability, agency program direction, and invoicing by contract line item.
  • Using budgetary and other automated system(s) and computer-generated products in accomplishing budgeting/funding assignments. Conduct Periodic reviews identifying any problems or issues involving the obligation process.
  • Support program management functions to include analysis, briefing preparation and follow-up actions.
  • Communicate financial information clearly and effectively

Experience Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience or if no associate's degree, 6 years' experience operating a help desk responsible for the identification, prioritization, and resolution of reported issues. Ensuring all phases of help desk support are properly coordinated, monitored, logged, tracked, and resolved appropriately. Extensive knowledge of Personal Identification Verification (PIV) sponsoring, registration, and authentication.


Education Requirements:
  • Associate's degree

Security Clearance Requirements:
  • A Top Secret (TS) clearance is required

Other Requirements:
  • May be required to move equipment/files weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Requires ability to consistently perform repetitive tasks including filing and scanning
  • May require sedentary work at least 50% of the time
  • Reports to a physical location which occasionally requires the ability to traverse between buildings
  • Ability to manage stress with a high degree of maturity/professionalism
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and leadership skills and the ability to work well with others
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Other duties as assigned


This position is contingent on funding.***

The anticipated compensation range for this position i s $85,000- $110,000. Multiple considerations are taken into account when determining the final salary/hour rate, including but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, education and certifications, relevant work experience, related skills and competencies, as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
