SUMMARY

CAE USA Missions Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking qualified applicants to serve in the role of Contract

Instructor/Air Battle Manager (CABM) - Live Flight to support its E-3 Contract Aircrew Training and

Courseware Development Program located at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. These individuals will be required

to provide flight instruction for Air Battle Management (ABM) (various specialties i.e. AWO, SD, MCC,

ECO, ASO) students, and must maintain currency in their respective aircraft models.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the

  • Contract Flight Instructors will be required to conduct formal training in accordance with ACC approved syllabi
  • Review each applicable student's grade book and specific sortie syllabus requirements prior to mission planning
  • Supervise and assist students in preparation of required mission planning paperwork as well as completion of post mission paperwork
  • Conduct a thorough event crew pre-brief and student pre-brief for all flight events IAW the approved training sortie pre-briefing guide to prepare students to perform the scheduled event
  • Provide inflight instruction to students
  • Provide in-flight instruction IAW with established syllabus and performance instruction.
  • Assist in the evacuation of aircraft in support of inclement weather, natural disasters, and similar events upon the direction of squadron leadership
  • Attend safety and unit training meetings, as directed
  • Other duties as required


QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree •
  • Minimum of 1500 total flying hours •
  • Previous Flight evaluator experience in the E3 aircraft •
  • Possess and maintain a current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA Class III Medical Certificate through the duration of the contract
  • Must be willing and able to work varying shifts, weekend, and in outdoors conditions
  • Must be willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally as required
  • Must successfully complete a formal CRI course within six months after start of instructor training (Completion of the ACC CIC or MAJCOM equivalent satisfies the CRI requirement)
  • Must meet Government certification requirements prior to performing formal student instruction
  • Applicants will be subject to a US Government security investigation and must be able to obtain/maintain the required security clearance (Top Secret with SCI Eligibility)
  • Other duties as assigned


PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Previous E3 flight instructor experience within the last two (2) years
  • Over 500 instructor flying hours in the E3


SECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES

Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.

  • Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.


WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Domestic and international travel as required.
  • Must be able to walk and/or climb stairs and ladder into a simulator or airplane cockpit
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, and crawl on top of or under machinery.
  • Must be able to detect odors or hear noises, bangs, etc., or other sounds to detect problems or flaws in the functioning of simulators and its surrounding environment.
  • Will be working in areas with risk of electrical shock and from moving mechanical parts driven by hydraulics under high pressure.
  • Will at times be exposed to the following conditions: extreme heat, airborne particles, Other Duties •
  • Work in a regular office environment; communicate via personal computer, telephone and fax
