Functional Analyst - Lead

Seeking a Functional Analyst, Lead to join our team at Langley AFB, VA. This effort is to support SOI's Expeditionary Contingency Medical Materiel (ECMM) Support Services contract that reinforces SOI's position as an industry leader in supporting the operational and IT needs of the federal logistics community.

What You'll Get to Do:

• Coordinating Air Force medical deployment and support requirements with Combatant Commands, Major Commands, Air Force Personnel Center, and HQ Air Force.
• Tracking status of all medical forces assigned under the Secretary of the Air Force as a Force Provider of deployable capability.
• Researching and providing data and advice related to deployable medical personnel capabilities to HQ Air Combat Command Director of Medical Readiness Division and Command Surgeon.
• Preparing reports and charts to explain data to Air Combat Command medical and Operations offices, HQ Air Force medical and operations offices, and the Joint Staff.
• Provide written or verbal answers, policy, doctrine, or guidance as appropriate
• Develop and maintain standardized training requirements
• Develop and maintain METLs (Mission Essential Task Lists)
• When directed, develop and present headquarters briefings
• When directed, participate in staff assistance and readiness mentorship visits to determine the effectiveness of training programs and to provide suggestions/guidance on how to improve status

More About the Role:


You will have an important role in providing much needed support to our SOI mission as a Functional Analyst Lead providing operations support pertaining to medical logistics.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

• An Active Secret Clearance
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Ten years specialized Air Force Medical experience working in medical readiness planning and programming, doctrine, ECMM manpower force packaging and training.
• Proven experience working with a military team operating at a Major Command or Headquarters level.
• A working knowledge of medical aspects and applicability to AF planning systems and MRA/Pilot Unit processes.

Education and Experience:

• 2+ years of experience as a Contracts Specialist or similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or finance is preferred.
• Must have and retain a Secret Clearance.
