Overview
VTG is seeking a Junior Warehouse / Logistics Specialist in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
What will you do?
Do you have what it takes?
• Current Final/Active Top Secret clearance.
• Three (3) years of implementation experience in Facility/Warehouse Storage and Logistical support.
• Three (3) years' experience operating a forklift in support of material handling and possess a current Material Handling Equipment (MHE) license to operate a forklift.
• Three (3) years' experience with packing and crating of equipment and palletizing of material for shipment.
• Three (3) years' experience with preparation of work orders, bills of lading, requisition and invoice/shipping documents, DD1149, DD1348 and shipping orders.
• Three (3) years' experience with Microsoft office software. (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Pay Range: VTG's estimated starting pay range is $20/hr-31/hr, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
VTG is seeking a Junior Warehouse / Logistics Specialist in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
What will you do?
- Retrieve and issue project material to the requestor and provide project material/equipment staging support and package project equipment for shipment in accordance with carriers' requirements. Provide packing and crating support to include banding and palletizing material for shipments through Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center (NAVSUP FLC) Pearl Harbor or commercial Equipment requiring special handling will be determined by the requestor or the warehouse manager.
- Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, requisition and invoice/shipping documents, DD-1149, DD-1348 and shipping orders to route materials.
- Monitor and record all incoming and outgoing
- Operate office equipment, copy machines, scanners, bar-code scanners and fax
- Operate a government owned forklift by a performer possessing a Material Handling Equipment (MHE) The contractor shall provide a letter stating specific type of MHE training and that the operator is medically qualified for approval by the COR prior to operating a forklift.
- Sweep the warehouse interior as needed, or at least once Remove and dispose of trash and residual packaging material as needed and as instructed by Government, as well as identify and correct any safety related issues to prevent personnel injury and damage to equipment and/or material by always maintaining a safe and clean warehouse.
- Check the warehouse exterior compound as needed, or at least once Remove and dispose of trash, as instructed by Government, as well as identify and correct any safety related issues to prevent personnel injury and damage to equipment or material.
- Conduct daily warehouse facility checks for maintenance issues and notify facility manager of any
- Comply with all OSHA and EM385-1-1 regulations regarding the safety and health requirements and provide appropriate safety equipment while performing work.
- Complete a Contractor's Progress, Status and Management Report monthly
- Maintain a log of received and issued material and input receipts to the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (Navy ERP) System and Receiving and Delivery Service (RDS) Store incoming project shipments in appropriate locations at NIWC, Pearl City, Hawaii.
- Pick-up material property from NIWC Pacific delivery points and/or warehouses and deliver material to NIWC pacific customers and/or warehouses.
- Maintain a log of received and issued material and input receipts to the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (Navy ERP) System and Receiving and Delivery Service (RDS) Store incoming project shipments in appropriate locations at NIWC, Pearl City, Hawaii.
- Document preparation and procurement support to program and project teams for equipment and material procurement using various procurement methods (i.e. OFD (Outgoing Funding Document), Purchase Card, MILSTRIP, Simplified Contract)
