Job Summary:
Zel Tech has an immediate opportunity for a Targeting Analyst. The candidate will be provided with specific mission related tasking and be expected to independently develop the proper approach/solution, brief findings to leadership, and conduct independent research.
Responsibilities:
- Support Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Directorate of Science and Technology across several technical projects through the application of procedures to evaluate the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of procedures in order to ensure optimal operational performance.
- Use network analysis techniques and specialized analytic tools to identify and detail foreign individuals, organizations, and relationships.
- Incorporate trend and pattern analysis and pattern of life analysis into completed products.
- Oversee daily activities of area or customer Support development of company policies, procedures, and guidance (may not apply to all job families).
- Combine their training, advanced analytic skills, sophisticated analytic tools, and in-depth subject matter expertise in life sciences to identify and enhance opportunities for operational activity.
- Use a full suite of analytic tools to perform targeting analysis related to life sciences (biology and chemistry).
- Prepare operational target support products.
- Work as a team with other targeting analysts.
- Balance competing priorities and deadlines.
- Present findings to the client during weekly briefings.
- Contribute to the team's written weekly summaries.
- Collect and analyze data, often using spreadsheets and databases.
- Conduct elaborate network analysis.
- Write clear, concise reports of findings and creating and delivering presentations to clients, often requiring clear and persuasive explanation of complex processes to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contact with the customer/provide customer support.
Requirements:
- Must be a US citizen.
- Must have an active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance.
- BS or higher degree in biology, microbiology, immunology, biochemistry, chemistry, or a related life science and five (5) or more years of relevant experience.
- In lieu of degree, ten (10) or more years of relevant experience.
- Experience with standard all-source intelligence research tools.
- Experience searching open-source academic databases.
- Strong research, analytical and writing skills.
- Research technical issues & prepare reports to management.
- Identify and solve problems.
- Manage time & resources Ability to delegate implementation plans to subordinate members of group.
- Good interpersonal skills and an effective communicator.
- Successful background and drug screening check.
Preferred Requirements:
- MS Degree and three (3) or more years of relevant experience.
