Data Management Specialist – Mid Level
LOCATION: San Diego, California (NAVWAR)

SALARY RANGE: $78,000 - $79,000 DOE
JOB FUNCTION:
Data Management Specialist (Mid-Level) – Configuration Management (CM) consists of the planning, configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, configuration verification and audit, technical data development, analyses, reviews and configuration reporting. CM ensures technical data control of the operational equipment hardware, technical documentation and computer software program configuration baselines.
CONFIGURATION MGMT SPECIALIST II - Data Management Specialist - Mid-Level:
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in Data Management or combined two years of experience in two or more of the following areas:
• Data Management
• TopVue or similar data management tools, i.e., DOORS, CMpro
Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in business administration or management
• One additional year of experience in Configuration/Data Management may be substituted for a degree
Desired Qualifications:
• Defense Acquisition University Configuration Management training
• Institute of Configuration Management training
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Able to process concurrent tasks and work with other team members to accomplish larger or complex tasks
• Knowledge of Department of the Navy Configuration Management processes plans, organizes, completes and presents assessments of Data Management concepts, analyses, studies and procedures
