HOW THE WATCHSTANDER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Serves as a primary liaison between the Government and other Federal agencies, and security providers regarding Residential, Travel, Cybersecurity, and Law Enforcement initiatives.
- Represents the Government in partner agency command and operations centers; facilitates the timely exchange of security related information.
- Maintains awareness of and provides information regarding security policies and services to the Government's customers. Receives and processes requests for support.
- Maintains situational awareness of ongoing security events.
- Utilizes technology tools such as geospatial software and databases to monitor implementation of security programs.
- May be required to return to his/her duty station or work remotely during off-duty hours to provide support during crisis periods or to address emergent threats.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: BA/BS
- Required Experience: Minimum 1 year of security and/or customer service experience.
- Security Clearance Level: Top Secret Eligibility Required
- Required Skills and Abilities: Strong verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic environment; ability to convey conceptual ideas both written and verbally; strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); customer service and problem-solving skill are essential.
- Preferred Skills: Experience with common operational picture tools such as WebEOC, geospatial software, and related databases; security coordination and program management experience; experience briefing senior leadership and/or officials
- Location: On Customer Site, Washington, DC. No remote work options
