Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Red Hat Maintenance Engineer to join a high-impact team supporting a Federal program in Tampa, FL. Responsibilities
- Support public sector customers in implementing automated and containerized cloud application platform solutions
- Learn new technologies quickly, including container orchestration and microservices
- Perform technical reviews and proactively identify and prevent issues
- Understand customer technical infrastructures and serve as a customer advocate
- Collaborate with engineering, R&D, product management, and technical support teams
- Create documentation regarding customer issues and resolutions
- Manage and grow customer relationships through attentive support
- Provide hands-on support as needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with OpenShift technologies
- U.S. citizenship to fulfill government contract
- Active TS/SCI
- Experience with cloud management, particularly Red Hat OpenShift
- Competent comprehension of enterprise architecture
- Direct experience with various hardware vendors
- Ability to manage multiple issues and projects with shifting priorities
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) concepts
- Familiarity with source code management tools like Git or SVN
- Willingness to provide after-hours coverage
Compensation Includes:
- Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 **depending on experience**
- Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Paid Holidays, Sick Leave as required by Law
