Role Overview
Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Psychotherapist to support the North Carolina National Guard's Integrated Behavioral Health System (IBHS).
This position is contingent upon contract award. We are actively pursuing this government contract.
Location and Schedule
This position is based in Charlotte, NC, with services delivered in person. While staff generally support units at or near their primary office location, this role requires up to 25% travel across North Carolina based on program needs.
Work hours average 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM. Occasional evening and weekend support is required to accommodate unit events and drill weekends. Flexibility is essential, and adjusted weekday hours may be provided when off-hours coverage is required.
This position will also participate in a rotating on-call schedule to staff a 24/7 behavioral health helpline.

Responsibilities
- Provide behavioral health support to eligible clients, including assessment, crisis intervention, clinical case management, and evidence-based trauma treatments (e.g., CPT, PE, EMDR, ART) in outpatient settings embedded at NCNG armories and Family Assistance Centers.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for the 24/7 IBHS Help Line.
- Conduct clinical evaluations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and documentation in the IBHS Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Identify behavioral health trends and submit quarterly clinical reporting.
- Deliver proper transition and follow-up care to ensure continuity of treatment and connection to internal and external support networks.
- Conduct outreach at assigned NCNG facilities (typically monthly) and deliver briefings and debriefings (e.g., psycho-education sessions, Yellow Ribbon events, Unit Briefings, Military Funeral Honors, Critical Incident Stress Debriefings, and Orientations) as requested.
- Provide consultation to NCNG command when requested and coordinate referrals or support services.
- Newly onboarded employees will complete a 6-month Individual Training Program; senior personnel may be assigned to serve as mentors on a 1:1 basis.
- Represent the IBHS at events (e.g., Yellow Ribbon, Unit Briefings)
- Maintain clinical documentation in the secured EMR system
- Adhere to all HIPAA, Privacy Act, and ethical standards; educating clients on their rights.
- Ensure clients do not disclose classified information during counseling sessions
- Maintain accurate documentation.
- Stay current on state, military, and program-specific guidelines and participate in required trainings.
- Master's Degree in a behavioral health or social science field.
- NC state license (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) at the independent provider level.
- 3+ years of post-licensure clinical experience in behavioral health, individual, couple, family, and mental health counseling; domestic/workplace violence; psychopathology; and psychosocial dynamics
- Proficiency in trauma-focused treatment modalities and crisis care.
- Experience with military populations preferred.
- Must be able to pass a basic federal background check and qualify for a DoD ID card (CAC).
- 1+ year experience with a computerized medical database system (preferred).
- 1+ year experience working on a virtual team (preferred).
