Role Overview
Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. isseeking a dedicated Health & Wellness Advocate to support the North Carolina National Guard's Integrated Behavioral Health System (IBHS).
This position is contingent upon contract award. We are actively pursuing this government contract.
Location and Schedule
This position is based in Apex, NC. Health & Wellness Advocates work where needed to support Service Members, generally within the surrounding area. Some travel is required throughout North Carolina and may occasionally extend to other locations in the United States.
Work hours average 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM. Some evening and weekend support is required to accommodate drill weekends and events. Flexibility is required. Weekday schedules may be adjusted to account for off-hours support.

Responsibilities
- Provide non-clinical case management for eligible Service Members with behavioral health and substance use needs
- Coordinate resource referrals related to housing, finances, food, utilities, and similar services
- Ensure connection to appropriate internal and external support networks and provide follow-up support
- Refer crisis situations to clinical staff when appropriate
- Attend events to engage with Service Members and connect with local, state, and community organizations
- Deliver behavioral health briefings at Yellow Ribbon and other military events as requested
- Maintain accurate documentation and submit monthly reports on case management and critical cases.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a behavioral health science field
- With a Master's degree: minimum 3 years of post-graduate experience in a social work setting, including at least 1 year supporting military populations
- With a Bachelor's degree: minimum 5 years of post-graduate experience in a social work setting, including at least 1 year supporting military populations
- Experience with military populations preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to pass a basic federal background check and qualify for a DoD ID card (CAC).
- Current training in HIPAA and the Privacy Act (or ability to complete immediately upon hire
- 1+ year experience with a computerized medical database system (preferred).
- 1+ year experience working on a virtual team (preferred).
