We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Services Specialist who is responsible for providing end-to-end support for transportation logistics and system maintenance activities. This includes performing system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance, and integrated product support (IPS) for major systems. The role also encompasses controlling the flow of goods, services, and information from origin to customer delivery, ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and organizational standards.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Services Specialist who is responsible for providing end-to-end support for transportation logistics and system maintenance activities. This includes performing system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance, and integrated product support (IPS) for major systems. The role also encompasses controlling the flow of goods, services, and information from origin to customer delivery, ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and organizational standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform system fault analysis and life cycle maintenance to ensure the reliability and readiness of transportation assets.
- Support integrated product support (IPS) activities for transportation systems and related equipment.
- Manage the movement of goods, services, and information from origin through delivery to meet customer requirements.
- Conduct DOT-compliant vehicle pre-trip inspections and maintain required driving records.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Track and manage transportation-related data to support logistics performance and reporting.
- Participate in the development and implementation of logistics process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate transportation schedules and services.
- Support documentation and reporting of transportation and maintenance activities.
- Respond to and resolve transportation issues to ensure uninterrupted flow of materials and services.
Basic Qualifications
- TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, maintenance operations, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of system fault analysis and integrated product support (IPS) methodologies.
- Familiarity with logistics functions such as transportation, inventory, warehousing, and order processing.
- Proficient in using logistics systems and databases to track and manage materials and services.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently under limited supervision.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and process execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Maintenance Management, or related discipline.
- Experience supporting life cycle maintenance or IPS activities for large or complex systems.
- Proficiency in logistics or supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Maximo).
- Knowledge of process improvement methods (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Experience in a government, defense, or regulated industry environment.
- Familiarity with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and safety compliance practices.
- Demonstrated ability to support cross-functional teams and adapt to shifting priorities.
