Job Summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a qualified and motivated Personnel Recruitment and Retention Analyst L3 to support a high-performing team focused on advancing space capabilities for national defense.

This position supports STARCOM Personnel leadership by providing expert analysis and data-driven insights into employee behavior, recruitment strategies, and retention efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering decision support and technical expertise related to workforce engagement, using behavioral and industrial-organizational perspectives.

Additionally, the analyst will offer labor economics support for assessing recruitment, hiring, promotions, development, retention, and performance evaluations. Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate findings to senior leadership are essential.

Skills / Experience Required

Personnel Recruitment and Retention Analyst L3 Skills and Experience:

* Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
* 10+ years of practical experience in the Department of Defense (DoD), with a focus on space systems
* Proven success in recruiting and retaining personnel in corporate environments; experience with government personnel is a plus
* Skilled in tracking key recruitment and retention metrics such as time-to-hire, offer acceptance rate, employee tenure, and voluntary turnover to measure program effectiveness
* Conducted detailed analysis of employee data (e.g., performance reviews, exit interviews, engagement surveys) to identify trends and root causes of attrition
* Presented findings and actionable recommendations to stakeholders using data visualization tools, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education / Certifications

Personnel Recruitment and Retention Analyst L3 Education/Certifications:

* Master of Arts (MA), Master of Science (MS), or Master of Engineering (ME) degree in a related field
* Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of education

Security Clearance

Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance is/may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner, and that may include lifting up to thirty pounds, as necessary.
