The Opportunity
This role supports national security by providing expert analysis and strategic guidance on counter-small unmanned aircraft systems (C-sUAS). The Senior Analyst collaborates with government stakeholders, evaluates emerging technologies, and drives cross-agency coordination efforts. With a strong foundation in unmanned systems operations and a focus on innovation, this position plays a critical role in shaping the future of C-sUAS capabilities across diverse environments, including urban and Smart City settings. Ideal candidates bring operational experience, technical insight, and the ability to translate complex challenges into actionable solutions for decision-makers.
Work with government customers to assess the impact of existing and emerging Group 1-3 UAS issues on Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS)
Analyze sensor and effector technologies related to C-sUAS platforms and advise Government Program Manager
Lead planning, coordination, execution, and reporting of Rapid Assessments, Test Events and Demonstration Events
Support program office personnel with developing and updating requirements, evaluation, and other frameworks
Provide input for required acquisition documentation
Devise, support, and implement evaluation strategies to support programmatic execution for fielding of emerging C-sUAS systems
Coordinate government customer liaisons with United States national security and law enforcement entities with respect to UAS incidents within United States airspace and territories
Per direction of the Government Program Manager, liaison with other United States Government (USG) C-UAS programs to ensure effective flow of information and coordination of efforts
Support Government Program Manager events
Assist with assessing and developing urban, Smart City environments that may be used to test and evaluate UAS, C-UAS, and other governmental technical capabilities
Liaise and coordinate with Department of Defense (DoD) and non-DoD entities on urban and Smart City living laboratories
Provide expertise on requirements for assessing and evaluating national security and law enforcement technical capabilities
Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver flight training curriculum
Certified UAS Operator with hands-on experience piloting a diverse fleet of unmanned aerial systems
Required Skills/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or Business.
3+ years’ experience with UAS, Counter UAS and technical surveillance.
4+ years’ experience working and coordinating with multiple government agencies.
Must be a United States citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance with the US Government
Preferred Skills/Experience
Project management
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be able to prioritize workloads and deadlines.
