Full-Time Salary Range: $118504 - $201457
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

The Sr Wargaming Analyst will:
- Develop, execute, and facilitate military wargames, red teaming exercises, and tactical, operational, and strategic simulations to test operational plans and explore future conflict scenarios.
- Construct scenario parameters, narratives, and define variables including force structure, capabilities, terrain, analytical questions, and adversary behavior.
- Collaborate with military subject matter experts, intelligence analysts, and planners to ensure realism and relevance in wargame design.
- Analyze outcomes of exercises to identify capability gaps, assess force effectiveness, and provide recommendations.
- Prepare and assist in delivering briefings, after-action reports, and decision support materials to stakeholders.
- Support integration of modeling and simulation tools (e.g., JCATS, OneSAF, JTLS-GO) to enhance analytical rigor and increase the complexity of different simulations.
- Contribute to the refinement of wargaming methodologies, including incorporation of emerging technologies like AI and machine learning.
- Stay current on global military developments, adversary doctrine, and technological trends impacting future warfare.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in National Security, Defense Studies, International Relations, Political Science, or a related field. Waived if candidate has 10+ years of conducting military exercises and simulations.
- At least 8 years of experience supporting DoD, service components, or defense contractors in wargaming, military planning, or operational analysis.
- Familiarity with DoD planning processes (e.g., PPBE, JCIDS, JOPP).
- Strong understanding of military doctrine, joint operations, and adversary threat environments (e.g., China, Russia, non-state actors).
- Experience conducting red teaming or adversary emulation is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with simulation tools and data visualization platforms is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience briefing senior military or government leadership.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Prior military service or experience working in a combatant command, service component, or defense.
- Experience with campaign analysis, concept development, or future force design.
