Serves as a subject matter expert in IT, offering specialized knowledge and technical insights in a specific domain such as cloud computing, enterprise architecture, or cybersecurity. The IT SME provides critical advice on best practices, emerging technologies, and strategic decisions. Supports decision-makers by offering deep expertise that influences project outcomes and enhances the technical proficiency of teams. Designs company IT structure to ensure it aligns well with the business' organizational structure and processes. Main duties include developing ways to integrate the business' IT systems, creating and implementing enterprise architecture models and suggesting improvements to current internal functions and IT processes.
