Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated Field Service Representative that can work with little direction to ensure the high quality of customer service. The goal is to maximize customer commitment and the prosperity of business by producing results in a timely manner.

Essential Functions
  • Provide on-site technical support for defense equipment/systems, including installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance activities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and defense customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and managing relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of defense equipment/systems to enhance their capabilities and minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate logistics, including spare parts management, inventory control, and supply chain management, to ensure timely availability of resources for maintenance and support activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports, maintenance logs, and technical documentation, to track equipment performance and facilitate future troubleshooting.
  • Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Participate in field testing and evaluation of new equipment/systems, providing feedback and insights to support product development and improvement efforts.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, regulations, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement in service delivery and support operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, product development, and customer support, to address technical issues, implement solutions, and achieve organizational objectives.

Qualifications and Competencies
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of defense equipment/systems, including electronics, mechanical systems, and software applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving technical issues and challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating initiative, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence.

Education / Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4-6 years of related experience

Experience
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience required.
  • Prior experience in a technical support role, preferably in the defense industry or a related field.
