Senior Information Assurance Task Lead
We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Information Assurance Task Lead to oversee and manage complex cybersecurity and compliance efforts. In this role, you will lead a team of professionals to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information systems, while maintaining compliance with federal standards and industry best practices. Ideal candidates will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of risk management frameworks such as RMF, NIST, and FISMA.
Tasks: Lead a team of Information System Security Officers (ISSOs), Security Control Assessors (SCAs) and Information System Security Representatives (ISSRs). Support Information Assurance activities in accordance with the PWS requirements. Ensure that ISSOs have the skill set to utilize implemented tools and monitoring capabilities to support continuous authorization. This includes the ability to interpret data from implemented tools to identify changes to a system, changes in vulnerabilities, configuration, and implemented security control.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the team of SMEs assigned to Information Assurance activities.
• Provide management support, focusing on the Information System Security Officers, and the Information System Security Manager and Authorizing Official Designated Representative for resource allocation and management.
• Provide a high capability to document, organize, communicate, assess, and review internal processes subject to federal requirements, contractual obligations, and external audits.
• Ensure that the day-to-day operations are conducted in a manner that supports the customer and Federal stakeholders.
Requirements:
• Active Top Secret/Q security clearance
• 7 - 10 years of related experience with at least 5 years serving in a Senior or Lead role
• CISM and/or CISSP certification
• Experience with all Risk Management Framework Steps
Preferred:
• Experience supporting the DOD National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA)
• CSSP, SOC/NOC experience
