DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Mile Two is seeking a Contracts Administrator to perform general Contract and Subcontract administration for DoD & commercial contracts (cradle-to-grave contracting). Coordinating with the Project Controller and Ops teams to maintain and monitor contract records to ensure that funding requirements, contractual terms, and objectives are met. Job duties include:
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, applicable regulations, and customer requirements; initiate corrective action as required.
  • Maintain ongoing knowledge of regulatory updates, understand the impact to the company and communicate to leadership.
  • Administer contract, subcontract, and purchasing actions including initiating, negotiating, and maintaining new agreements and contracts (including but not limited to NDAs, TAs, Consulting Agreements, Subcontracts, and Purchase Orders). Advise on contract revisions as appropriate and proactively assess critical contract obligations and contract provisions, to include gaps and risks.
  • Research, negotiate, and resolve Contract/Subcontract issues, disputes, terms/conditions, conduct cost and price analyses, etc.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records, including contract versions, amendments, correspondence, and other related documents. Ensure proper storage, organization, and retrieval of contracts for reference and audit purposes.
  • Establish good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders of varying levels; Participate in customer meetings as required.
  • Assist with proposal preparation to include, but not limited to, RFP review, completion of supporting documents such as Representations and Certifications, Data Rights Assertions, and other proposal documents as required. Review of requirements for compliance, support with submitting proposals and identifying to stakeholders contractual and/or RFP terms that pose risk to the company and resolve/implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct contract closeouts as needed.
  • Suggest and implement policy & process improvements that enhance efficiency and customer service.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least five (5) years of Contract Administration experience within federal contracting environments
  • High level of understanding of the FAR and ability to efficiently and effectively research FAR/DFARS information.
  • Working knowledge of all contract types including CPFF, T&M, FFP, IDIQ and GSA schedules
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work independently

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • High level of understanding of DFARS
  • Familiarity with SBIRs or STTRs
  • Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) experience
  • NCMA Certification
  • Proficiency with Unanet
