What You’ll Do:
As an Intern at BOAB Ventures, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to the inner workings of a startup and contribute to a variety of projects that support our business operations and talent initiatives. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with tasks that span both recruiting and broader administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with candidate sourcing and job posting across various platforms
• Support scheduling, communication, and coordination for internal and external stakeholders
• Learn and engage with tools like applicant tracking systems and other workflow platforms
• Contribute to team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and internal projects
• Provide general administrative support and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Take on varied tasks as needed to support the team and business goals
• Working within Microsoft Suite products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc)
What We’re Looking For:
• Must live within the DC, MD, VA area
• US citizenship required
• Interest in recruiting, human resources, or startup operations
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Proactive, organized, and comfortable working independently and in teams
• Discretion when handling sensitive information
• Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace; experience with platforms like LinkedIn is a plus
