Quality and Risk Lead
The Opportunity:
As a Quality and Risk Lead, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it's imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That's why we need you, an experienced risk management spe cia list who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.
On our team, you'll utilize and apply industry expertise to optimize business process performance and effectiveness. Evaluate new and current processes, highlighting strengths and pin-pointing improvement areas. Work with program leaders to apply process improvements that aim to heighten quality, client satisfaction, and cost-efficiency. You'll advise program staff and leadership on quality practices, standardize quality or risk management methods, and perform product evaluations. You'll develop, scrutinize, and present the Quality Management Plan ( QMP ) and Risk Management Plan ( RMP ) in alignment with the Program Management Plan ( PMP ) , while ensuring deliverable quality. You'll lead risk assessment activities and apply industry standards to develop and execute strategies, plans, and processes to capture, investigate, and assess performance, cost, schedule, personnel, and contract and subcontract management risk. You'll collaborate with risk owners, c ond uct risk probability and impact analysis, and define strategies and methods to minimize or mitigate risk and optimize opportunities. Facilitate program Risk Review Boards or Risk Control Boards.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience managing a client-facing Risk Management Program
- 5+ years of experience implementing and updating program risk and opportunity management plans and Standard Operations Procedures ( SOPs ) to document processes, activities, instructions, best practices, and lessons learned
- 5+ years of experience developing and managing the program's Risk Register
- 5+ years of experience developing and overseeing the program's RMP, documenting the program's RAM and the strategies, plans, processes, and activities to capture, investigate, and assess program risk, including compliance considerations such as OCI, ITAR, and NDA
- 3+ years of experience facilitating program Risk Review Boards ( RRBs ) or Risk Control Boards ( RCBs ) , ensuring program risk is addressed, monitored, and actioned in accordance with the program's RMP
- 3+ years of experience with the Award Fee Determination Plan ( AFDP )
- Ability to pay strict attention to detail, including analyzing problems, c ond ucting research, evaluating options for action, and providing thoughtful recommendations at a strategic level
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience using the Jira toolset
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management ( EVM ) objectives
- Knowledge of sof tware development techniques such as Agile development, DoD cyber, and other technical elements
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possession of excellent analytical, critical thinking, and action tracking skills
- TS / SCI clearance
- Project Management Professional, Risk Management Professional, or similar Certifications
