Junior Systems Engineer Intern

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.

Responsibilities

• Apply your knowledge as a Junior Systems Engineer to support specific technical tasks important to AMERICAN SYSTEMS
• Develop code to analyze data and create metrics to characterize the data.
• Develop AI/ML methods to define baseline activities and search out anomalies and correlations from multiple sensors for these anomalies
• Conduct performance verification and acceptance testing for systems during system development or upgrade.
• Plan out content for phase II of application.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 1-2 years of college or related work experience in comuter science or engineering fields
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $49,600.00/Yr. - USD $82,800.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
