Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated cost analysis support within Corporate Financial Management & Analytics functions.
- Assist in delivering cost analysis services across Picatinny Arsenal and affiliated DEVCOM Armaments Center organizations.
- Review, analyze, and reconcile a variety of cost estimates including:
- Program Office Estimates (POEs)
- Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCEs)
- Independent cost and technical element reviews
- Supporting documentation preparation
- Program Office Estimates (POEs)
- Conduct cost analysis for Trade Studies, assessing alternatives and working in collaboration with Program Manager (PM) partners.
- Develop financial and cost models to support ad hoc cost-related special projects.
- Support Lean Six Sigma project teams with cost estimation and analysis during improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of:
- Economic Analyses (EAs)
- Cost Benefit Analyses (CBAs)
- Business Case Analyses (BCAs)
- Economic Analyses (EAs)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Experience in cost analysis, operations research, or financial modeling, ideally within a defense or government environment.
- Familiarity with federal cost estimating standards and processes.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in financial modeling tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance may be necessary.
