Position Summary:

The Enterprise Systems Administrator operates within a team of system administrators with a specific technology assigned. The applicant should be familiar with the general system administrator functions of maintaining servers and related software, resolving high-level customer issues, and daily reporting on system health and resolution when problems arise. This position will manage the enterprise's backup services. Familiarity with backup and restoration technology, preferably HYCU is a bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain the smooth operation of computer systems (including operating systems, software, and hardware) in networked or stand-alone configurations; maintain system integrity, and upgrade systems and/or servers as required.
• Create, update, and document new methods supporting system operations and implement procedure changes.
• Coordinate with partner technologies to design and implement backup strategies for enterprise operations.
• Consult support teams, help desks, customers, and other technical staff in the resolution of problems; coordinate and operate and/or perform maintenance activities for networks/servers; identify recurring problems, and recommend steps to reduce the severity or frequency of issues.
• Plan for the transition of development and/or production environments to new technologies, utilize system software to monitor the performance of system files, manage system data to maintain performance efficiencies, and/or study system requirements to determine proper server installation methods and procedures.
• Maintain and administer computer systems related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
• Attend planning and requirements meetings with IT staff, program manager, and customers as required.
• Review/reset priorities to address the client's mission and high-priority initiatives.
• Perform problem-solving tasks when alerted by a user.
• Collaboratively work with other team members to become familiar with additional technologies beyond those assigned as the primary function.
• Share knowledge with military and government partners on correctly using the specific technology assigned.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance for team members.

Requirements:

• Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility mandatory on Day 1
• High School diploma with a minimum of 3 years experience in the IT field.
• At a minimum, certifications in CompTIA Security +, MS-102, 700, or Linux Foundations course.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a systems administrator (Degree may be used towards experience).
• Ability to problem solve and think critically and independently.
• Attention to detail, good communication skills, and good project management skills.
• 3-5 years experience working with backup and restoration technology, preferably HYCU.

Preferred:

• Prior military and/or government experience.
• ITIL 3 or later certification is a bonus.
• Microsoft Certifications such as MCSA or equivalent a bonus.

Salary: $84,000 - $88000

This position primarily works standard business hours M-F, 7AM-4 PM
