Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop Avionics-based training programs and lesson plans
- Work with project stakeholders to validate the course outlines to ensure that quality and accuracy meet client expectations
- Participate in the development, testing, maintenance, and delivery of training programs and related materials in support of customer products
- Build and maintain course documentation on a continuous basis to ensure timeliness and relevance
- Conduct training sessions independently
- Develops, tests, maintains and delivers training programs and related materials in support of customer products
- Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training
- Updates course documentation on a continuous basis to ensure timeliness and relevance
- Comfortable presenting in front of large audiences both in person and virtually
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience related to the above responsibilities
- Related experience must include at least some experience supporting the military or a government contract
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft suite
- Experience training others
Preferred qualifications:
- Avionics Instructing experience
- Knowledge of avionics
- Master training specialist or equivalent
Clearance Requirements:
- Ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance, this position will require an active DoD Secret clearance.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
- Must be able to communicate converse and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
- Must be able to report in office (No fulltime telework)
- Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as calculator, computer printer and copy machine
