Job Description: The selected candidate will work as a Business Process Reengineer supporting Army Futures Command (AFC) at Thompson Gray. Responsibilities include coordination with the customer to capture as-is business processes, identify inefficiencies, and suggest improvements.

Full-Time/Part-Time: Full Time

Worksite details: Client is located at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in the Hampton/Newport News Virigina area. Job requirements are to be on-site 5 days a week, with the potential for a hybrid schedule in the future.

Duties will include:
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of current processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Document and standardize all Army business processes impacting financial statements, ensuring auditability and improvement to operations across the command/or center.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures and Process Maps with Internal Controls.
  • Develop Job Aids.
  • Develop Implementation Plans to ensure new processes are integrated into the organization.
  • Assist with Risk Management and Internal Controls (RMIC) support and activities including financial reporting and execution of audit and remediation of weaknesses within business processes and internal controls.
  • Monitor the outcomes of process changes and make adjustments.

Position Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or must have or be able to obtain a Secret-level clearance.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products, including Visio
Other Qualifications:
  • GFEBS experience highly desired
  • AXOL, SPS experience welcome
  • RMIC/Audit experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other related fields
