This position is really a concentration on Java Middleware, not GUI. However, having GUI development skills is great too. I did list JavaScript in Desired Skills.
Task Required Skills:
* Experience developing Java Middleware
* Experience developing a Java REST API
* Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring/Spring Boot/Spring MVC
* Experience developing in a Unix environment and using the Unix command line
* Experience writing scripts using Bash
* Knowledge of relational Databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL ( connecting to and querying databases via Java applications )
Task Desired Skills:
* Experience with the Atlassian Tool suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
* JavaScript
* JDBC
* SQL
