JTSUSA has a client that is seeking an Oracle PeopleSoft HCM Business Analyst in Herndon, VA.
Responsibilities:
• Gather requirements, translate requirements into the best fit within the application
• Identify business process improvements
• Create and maintain SDLC documentation
• Support application configuration, define test scenarios, and create test scripts
• The candidate's responsibilities also include, but are not limited to, reviewing and commenting on proposed functionality
• Evaluate and provide feedback on design documents, test plans and scenarios, and other associated artifacts
• Will work with developers to ensure thorough understanding of functional requirements and designs
• The candidate is expected to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and work effectively with employees, subcontractors, and the Treasury staff
• Business Analyst/SME experience with PeopleSoft HCM
• Experience in a Federal environment
• Experience in writing business requirements and translating them into functional design documents
• Experience with software testing
• Strong SQL writing experience is required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to independently organize work, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple and changing priorities
• Ability to provide scheduled and ad hoc evening and weekend support
• Must be available to provide scheduled and ad hoc evening and weekend support
• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Qualifications
Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be US Citizens, able to pass the client's background check
10+ years of experience with the following:
Working with PeopleSoft HCM for Federal customers
HCM Shared Services
Supporting federal HCM process improvement initiatives in various parts of the HR life cycle for several different federal agencies
Must have PAR processing experience
Working knowledge of PeopleTools to assist with trouble-shooting/issue resolution
Excellent customer relationship management skills including effective oral and written communications
Strong analytical skills; ability to research issues and provide solutions
Engage with client stakeholders and customers to determine appropriate process improvements
Capacity and willingness to learn complex business rules and apply them to system processes and support
