Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Secure Flight Lead to join a Federal Program in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Responsibilities of the Secure Flight Lead include:
· Lead a cross-functional technical team (network, RHEL, DevOps, data, Windows, MQ, and Telephony) to support and enhance Secure Flight operations.
· Oversee critical system migrations, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal operational impact.
· Provide strategic and technical leadership for system upgrades, performance tuning, and infrastructure enhancements.
· Collaborate with stakeholders and partners to ensure compliance with federal security and regulatory standards.
· Apply ITIL v4 best practices to improve service delivery, risk management, and operational efficiency, while maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.
Qualifications for the Secure Flight Lead include:
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace) or 8+ years of equivalent experience.
· 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or related field.
· Proficient in MS Office, CAD/CAM, PLM, ERP, and MES systems.
· 4+ years of experience leading a technical team across multiple disciplines, including network, RHEL, DevOps, data, Windows, MQ, and Telephony.
· Experience leading migration efforts, including large-scale system transitions and technology upgrades.
· Must have an ITIL v4 certification
· Must have an Active Secret Clearance
Compensation for the Secure Flight Lead includes:
· Salary Range: $160,000 - $175,000 depending on experience
