Position Overview
Infinity is seeking Systems Engineering support for the Timber MILSATCOM contract. This systems engineering position will have a focus on System Integration and Test and will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful development, deployment, and functionality of this MILSATCOM system. This position involves the design, execution, and analysis of integration and test activities to validate system performance against requirements, meeting overall program milestones while moving through Ground Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T). This position requires an understanding of systems engineering principles and practices. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify integration challenges and propose effective solutions to resolve issues throughout the development lifecycle. Ultimately, this Systems Engineer will contribute to the advancement of MILSATCOM technology.
Primary Responsibilities
The Junior Systems Engineer will will play a critical role in supporting overall system development. The engineer will support AI&T tasks such as:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.

- Offer innovative thinking to design new ground-breaking technology in the areas of program digital engineering and digital threads.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on system architecture.
- Coordinate Ground requirements verification and sell-off plan using an Agile, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) approach.
- Seamlessly integrate digital engineering artifacts via Cameo modeling to provide a comprehensive view of the Ground's technical and programmatic details.
- Must have 1-3 years of relevant Systems Engineering, a degree in the engineering field will be considered.
- Self-motivated with an ability to collaborate positively in a team environment with people of different levels of experience and education and virtually in geographically dispersed locations.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment that requires work in a SCIF.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional problem solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Systems Engineering experience focused on requirements lifecycle, including integration and test methodologies.
- Experience creating Test Plans and Procedures.
- Experience with Systems Engineering in an Agile Development (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) environment.
- Experience with toolsets such as Cameo Systems Modeler and DOORS.
- Experience with creating executable MBSE models that integrate with analytical tools.
- Experience with common scripting languages (Apache Groovy, JavaScript, Python, C++, MATLAB, etc.).
- Ability to think critically to solve difficult problems and to learn to use new digital tools and engineering methods.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
