Senior Systems Engineer

Description

SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Systems Engineer to join our team in Annapolis Junction. The successful candidate will support oversight of development contractor activities, including the planning and witnessing of verification and test activities. This position demands extensive knowledge and experience in systems engineering, collection system design, upgrade planning, design and implementation, operational readiness preparation, and operations support tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the government customer with end-to-end planning, implementation, deployment, operation, and enhancement of complex systems
• Define requirements, perform performance analysis, prepare and review documentation, and track status
• Coordinate deployment and system activation activities, including providing integration support
• Facilitate survey and sustained operations
• Provide on-call support as required, with a response time within a 2-hour window

Qualifications

• Minimum of 14 years of directly relevant experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience can be substituted for the degree
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within diverse teams
• Minimum of 10 years of technical and analytical experience supporting a collection manager
• Relevant experience in signals intelligence (SIGINT) analysis/collection with an emphasis on analytics, collection management processes, and/or a closely related SIGINT technical analysis field
• Proven experience in using software applications and databases associated with collection and target development

Target salary range: $200,001 - $240,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
