Dexis Professional Services (Dexis) is seeking a Program Manager who will be the primary point of contact (POC) for Dexis and is responsible for managing the oversight of all tasks being performed over the course of the contract for the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD (A&S)).
The Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)) is responsible for leading the U.S. Department of Defense’s (DoD) efforts related to research and development, advanced technology, developmental test and evaluation, production, logistics, installation management, military construction, defense procurement, acquisition policy, environmental and nuclear security, chemical and biological matters, operational energy plans and programs, corrosion policy and oversight, human capital initiatives, as well as small and disadvantaged business management. To accomplish this mission, OUSD(A&S) requires administrative, analytical, and strategic communication support services.
The Program Manager shall also ensure full functionality and ensure changes to business practices are effectively communicated to all relevant staff.
The position will be based in the DC metro area and is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
-Ensure that all staff are fully trained in all administrative, clerical, specific policies and procedures.
-Ensure that all staff are able to complete the required day-to-day functions of OUSD (A&S) administrative, clerical, strategic communications support.
-Ensure full functionality and ensure changes to OUSD (A&S) Administrative and Strategic Communications -Support business practices are communicated to all relevant staff and contractors within OUSD (A&S).
-Provide and manage trained personnel to ensure effective and efficient day-to-day business operations in accordance with Administrative and Analytical Support and practices.
-Effectively manage personnel attrition and turnover to ensure operations continue smoothly while new staff are being hired and trained.
-Provide oversight of the OUSD (A&S) Administrative and Analytical Support processes to verify staff are providing accurate and responsive support. Whenever deficiencies are uncovered, the Program Manager shall take corrective actions to resolve deficiencies.
-Provide employees training to ensure staff expertise remains at a level to efficiently and effectively execute task order requirements.
-Provide monthly and quarterly status reports.
Qualifications
-Mastery of the day-to-day operations within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD(A&S))
-Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
-Active Secret security clearance.
-At least five (5) years of program management experience.
-Proficiency in MS Office software.
Preferred Qualifications
-Program management certification.
-Executive level support experience within the Department of Defense and other federal agencies.
-Program management experience demonstrating the ability to collaborate and deliver contractual services in a high op-tempo environment, coordinating between multi-disciplined functions of internal and external organizations.
